Golf is a supposedly elite game that is popular internationally. There are big world championships for professional golf, though most people play it at an amateur level as a hobby. Golf is a very interesting game that involves a lot of skill and adherence to many rules and regulations. The rules of golf are determined by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews (R&A), and the United States Golf Association (USGA).

The basic concept of golf is to hit a ball with a club until it reaches the cup, and use the minimum number of strokes to do it. There are different kinds of strokes or shots: tee shots, fairway shots, bunker shots and putts. There are

also approach shots: pitch, flop and chip. There is also scoring for golf. Amateur golfers are scored on the basis of their handicap. The main equipment required for golf includes: the golf ball, golf clubs, and special equipment like golf carts, bags, shoes, gloves and tees.

Playing the game of golf may not be as tough as most would believe. Watching people hitting a golf ball on the golf course may seem like a piece of cake. These guys on television, at their fancy golf tournaments I can do that no problem. Fancy golf apparel and shoes do not make you a great golfer. Even with the basic golf apparel, it helps attract more people just by their characteristics along.

Things like Nike or Adidas shoes make people believe they understood them. First of all, a proper swing is key to playing good golf. Women s golf has been known for playing good golf and their techniques have been amazing. Each of

them have worked on better their games and hit great games. Even the titleists work at their games so they can improve.

Golf isn t a game for the wealthy anymore. Public places like the Pebble Beach G. Links is a public golf course. Meaning, as opposed to the usual practice of the past in allowing only the club members access to the golf course, public golf course allows non membership access provided though that the green fee is played.

While it is a refreshing though, the rate to play on this public golf course is staggering expensive, it cost $425 plus $25 cart fee to play. While you do you best to scrape enough to play at Pebble Beach G. Links (BTW, Pebble Beach is named the most picturesque golf course in Western United States), you should also scrape when

it comes to buying golf equipment for your use. Always use cheap golf clubs if you can.
